I am Ruel Cubero Huerte, a solo parent with my two kiddos, namely Matt Leuelle and Ashton Kyle. Being a single parent is not easy with so many trials and things to consider and needs to be coped up. But Mr. William the founder of OCC invited me to join and be part of this advocacy and asked me to be one of the emcees during the said event. I accepted it with no hesitation after I reviewed his page. And what most touched my heart is that despite of the illness and successive treatment that he has been through, he’s so blessed in extending his life full of love, sharing, giving and joyful at every moment. I am so amazed and touched by his sharing out his time in giving gifts and food to the children and elderly. I would say that hopefully this would go on every year together with me and the others as a volunteer. Upon reading my testimony, may you also feel the same as what I am feeling being so overwhelmed. It is because I am now part of this journey already, and may you share also your blessings to the needy specially the children and elderly. Thus, I am now an advocate to OCC. Be one of us and continue giving joy and happiness to others. Mabuhay and Kudos Sir William!!! And to those who share...
My first OCC experience was last December 2019. I did not have doubts when asked if I was available that day to join. The whole journey of making the event a success was very fun because I was with people of great compassion and amazing characters too. When I saw the precious smiles of the children as they opened their gifts brought me joy. I never realized that the idea of gaining in giving was turned to a true to life experience. I gained connection to the present. Lipay nga way sama kaayo and I will definitely do it again. Salamat kaayo sa mga nag facilitate aning OCC. That was not just a one time experience but a lifetime commitment for me. Looking forward for this year’s OCC! 😊
"I am ferlin and I personally volunteered to be part of the out reach program last december year 2017. I was really very humbled to be able to experienced 1st hand the gift giving to kids, and for that I am very grateful. To be able to give back in my hometown through this program is such a great joy in my heart. Who else will not surrender their hearts to those priceless smile, laughter and joy the kids gave us. Those were very enough to recieved from them and those will forever be priceless🧡.I am very hopeful in the near future that this instrument will give the kids that "SEED", a seed that will bloom and will also decide in the future" TO DO THE SAME" 😊. That they will also be willing to give back in the near future because this program moved their hearts since then.

Let me start my testimony with a BIG THANK YOU because that event of May 20, 2017 is such an amazing experience not only to us the teaching staff of Sote Elementary School but more on the part of the parents especially to our learners since we could hardly imagine that out of nowhere comes the beautiful and kindhearted people through the initiatives of Sir William Manuta bringing the good news of the packages that my Sote Elementary School has to receive.
It is truly a big blessing to us because Mr. Manuta’s group Operation Backpack 2017 ia very timely since its distribution of the bags, slippers and school supplies falls on the last day of Brigada Eskwela Activities. All the children and their parents are very happy and everyone wears a smile on their faces especially when the burger and C2 are distributed and the overflowing sharing of ice cream where everybody is enjoying.
In behalf of my Sote Elementary School family, I give my commendation to your advocacy which is truly symbolizing the pure intention of helping and the unconditional act of giving. THANK YOU PO AND MORE POWER!!!
Generosity has been rare in these days, yet this group here have made a mark! I am Jon Jerik L. Jumaquio, I have been a volunteer for 2 Operation Christmas Child events. Based on my experience, the feeling when you do something for the needy is priceless. Times when you see those children’s smiles are just so heart-warming. It really feels good to help people in any way possible. Specially to those in need. I’ve enjoyed the 2 operations I have participated in and so far both of them have been great experiences. I salute to this group for their generosity and concern for those in need. May there be more blessings to come to this group and may they continue to pass on God’s Love. Im hoping to be part of another operation.
To all our relatives world-wide, let us unite and support our relative’s advocacy aimed at helping those unfortunate students be able to start school well-prepared and motivated by providing then with backpacks full of school supplies. Together let us give these children hope to change their lives for the better.
His upcoming project will be this coming December, the Operation Christmas Child 2017, and let us help reach out to more children with the true meaning of Christmas and a tangible expression of God’s love.
We aim to make most kids and the elderly see and feel the true spirit of the Christmas Season by making them feel special, loved and cared for through the giving of gifts.
